South Hands

A nice, well‑maintained room with a great view. The entire old town is walkable, and the metro is also very close. The host, Giuseppe, is very friendly and always reachable for questions. Check‑in went smoothly. There are truly great restaurants all around. I definitely recommend the Vesuvio Roof Bar & Restaurant. The area might look a bit dirty compared to Central European standards, but as a solo female traveler it wasn’t a problem at night. Don’t be discouraged by the exterior appearance; that’s just Naples. The B&B is absolutely recommended.

The balcony offered a great view of Naples, and everything else was close by; the place was very clean and the owner was friendly. There were no negatives.

The view was fantastic and the staff were pleasant. The elevator needed a 10‑cent charge between 8 and 20.

The host responded quickly and helped via messages, the bed was comfy, the shower worked well, and the balcony view was stunning; transport links were good and everything was within easy walking distance. However, the immediate surroundings were run down and littered with rubbish, though that was probably beyond the owner’s control since South Hands itself was in a well‑maintained block that stayed staffed all day.
