“My Manazil Alaswaf Experience”
The spot is great, just a short walk from Majid Nabawi—only a few blocks. The lobby feels welcoming and tidy, and the front desk people are friendly. However, they won’t clean your room unless you ask; if you don’t, no one will bother you even after several days. The housekeeping on our floor always looks down‑hearted when we request a clean, and despite claiming they speak English, talking to most staff about requests is tough. I also had a bad experience with my reservation: the booking site told me to upload my card so they could charge me later, but they never did. When I got there late because of a delayed flight, the staff said my room was already taken and that there were no vacancies. I was told to wait for a checkout or find another hotel. It was frustrating after booking with hope; my wife and I had to wait in the lobby for over seven hours until someone checked out, and only then was a room offered.
