“Maravilhosa”
Everything was great.
“Beautiful house terrible bedding.”
This beautifully converted house has large rooms and a pleasant traditional décor, but the pillows were awful and the poly‑cotton bed linen ruined the most important part of the stay – a good night's sleep; we ended up bringing our own. The Google directions point to an alley that’s impossible to drive down; the owner knows this and it would have helped to be warned beforehand. The dark sign for the property isn’t visible until you’re up close at night – a light over it would be a good idea.
The location of Casa was very convenient for trips to the north and west of the country or to Porto. The host was extremely friendly, even though she doesn’t speak English. The breakfast was varied and very abundant. We also tested the pool at the house.
From the first hour the staff were attentive, the people were wonderful, the pool was very clean and well maintained – I’ll definitely come back.
