The breakfast buffet was tasty, the evening menu was plentiful and good, the Sonnekalb family is very nice and hospitable, the hotel is run with great care, we will definitely return and recommend it to everyone 👌.

The hotel sits in a quiet spot right in nature, offers very friendly and personal contact, the restaurant serves regional and tasty food, it was ideal for us while traveling through, the breakfast was rich and the products fresh, we really enjoyed our stay 😎👍.

The location in the village centre is beautiful and quiet, the historic manor is well kept, parking is good, the room is large, high‑quality and rustic, the courtyard with restaurant is nice, and the hotel offers good value for money; however the staff were pretended friendly but somewhat brusque and authoritarian, no toiletries were in the bathroom, the food was expensive, and an hour before breakfast finished there were almost no rolls left – we had to ask the staff to bake more.

Dinner was tasty, but I had to pay €3 to charge my e‑bike and another €3.50 for the museum entry, which seemed odd given I was already paying over €100 for the room and €65 for dinner; that kind of extra cost can drive guests away. A small fridge in the room is now standard, and the breakfast was unremarkable.
