I always stay here when I’m in Cape Town and generally love the location and staff. But on Saturday night the whole public area turned into a disco, making it impossible to talk at reception or even approach the bar or restaurant. If I wasn’t a regular I’d have left and never returned. The hotel needs to rethink its priorities. The group probably had a blast, but average guests like me felt ignored.
