The location was fantastic for a planned operation just outside Salisbury, and the bar staff who checked us in were lovely, welcoming, and friendly.

A beautiful village on the edge of the New Forest, the location was great. The room was lovely and comfortable with everything you could need. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even pointing out a nearby pub for food after my late check‑in. The check‑in process was fast and easy, there was plenty of car parking, and they offered three fast EV chargers. No complaints—just a lovely place to stay.
I had a decent stay, nothing exceptional.

The room had a good supply of tea, coffee, and milk, presented nicely with decent mugs and real glasses instead of plastic cups. Biscuits were a nice touch, plus travel shampoo and shower gel. The bed was comfortable. However, complimentary ear plugs felt like a hint that the pub was noisy. The net curtain was hanging off the rail, the toilet seat was hinged on only one side, and a thorough vacuum was needed. The windows were filthy, and the shower was awful, full of limescale.
