The room was huge and spotless, and the housekeeping team was quick and professional. However, a waiter—who wasn’t even the one serving us—treated us poorly, and the supervisor reacted inappropriately, questioning our praise of the food and implying the fault lay with us. Eventually he conceded we wouldn’t pay for a dish we didn’t enjoy, but the way that unfolded was unacceptable. I’ve never seen such a disrespectful attitude in a hotel; I would have paid if the staff had been honest and courteous.

The pool was lovely, the room was great, and overall standards were high. Breakfast was good, but dinner left us underwhelmed. The hotel is a bit far from other restaurants, about 20 minutes to Medina by taxi, which isn’t a huge problem. In short, good value for a very satisfactory stay.
