It felt cozy and homely; the rooms were super clean and spacious, the shower had instant hot water and a powerful head, and there was a huge variety of food for breakfast.

Conveniently close to the highway and several good restaurants, the rooms were quiet, well insulated, and everything worked properly. The grounds were tidy, attractive, and had nice spots for walking dogs. However, many hotels only offer one comfortable chair in a room meant for two. The breakfast was acceptable, but allergies weren’t accommodated at all, and the staff member seemed unhappy with her job; about 15 minutes before breakfast ended she started hauling garbage cans, screeching them loudly on the floor, banging and smashing things. We were wrongly accused of pet‑damaged the room (they never left the pets alone) and were charged extra without being contacted or shown evidence. This had never happened to me before; the manager eventually fixed it. If you’re traveling with a pet, check the room before leaving to avoid a time‑consuming mess.
