Hotel Hedemarken

“Wir waren drei Erwachsene und ein Kind und keiner möchte nochmal eine Nacht dort verbringen.”

Breakfast was good, but cleanliness was lacking; corners and walls were full of spiderwebs, the sofa bed was broken, the shower was uninviting, and the staff were hard to find.

It’s our third visit, and the location is great for both Grindsted and Billund; the staff were very friendly and helpful.

“Kan kun anbefale stedet”

Overall, a nice place to stay, though I couldn’t find a soft‑boiled egg for breakfast even if it was already there.

“Worst breakfast Mouldy bread and liver pate.”

The distance to Legoland and Lalandia was convenient, and the rooms were accessed from outside instead of through the hotel reception, giving it a more motel‑like feel. Nobody was at the reception when we arrived; we rang the bell but it still took a while for someone to come out. Very little information was provided, as if you were expected to already know where everything was. MOULD!! The breakfast was by far the worst we’ve ever had. Liver pâté and mixed vegetables are not something adults, let alone children, would want. Considering the proximity to Legoland, they should offer a more varied breakfast. No pastries were available, and the bread was moldy. When we pointed this out to staff, they simply confirmed it was mold and walked away.

The staff were pleasant and a free coffee mug was provided. The top mattress could slide off the bed.
