“Enjoyable stay in Southwold.”
The hotel’s proximity to town and the comfortable room were highlights, but the evening meals were very pricey.

The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and featured a great bed and shower; the food was high‑quality and original, the staff lovely, and the value excellent – I’ll definitely return when we come to Suffolk again.

The stay was very good, though the steps to the room and the parking situation were a bit inconvenient.

Finding the hotel was easy and the location great; checking in and picking up the key was straightforward. The room was warm but had a fan if needed, and the bathroom was spacious, bright, and clean. However, the entrance could use a little sprucing up because of rubbish under the open stairs, and it’s unclear how people with disabilities would access the property if they couldn’t manage the steps.

The location and spacious rooms were positives, but the doorways are narrow, which is unavoidable in older buildings.
