The location, restoration, view, breakfast, café, and hygiene were all good, but parking is a nightmare; a bus comes every half hour, making it hard to reach for those with mobility issues.

The location is perfect—right above a café that’s one of the most beautiful spots to relax in Monemvasia, with a delicious chocolate praline that you shouldn’t miss 🙂. Everything was clean, and although our room was small, it was just enough for the couple who came to spend the whole day exploring outside. The sea view is amazing. Unfortunately, breakfast wasn’t tasty; I really tried to enjoy it, but everything tasted off. Also, if you’re an early riser, the noise from people walking down the hallway can wake you. Other than that, everything is great.

The property sits in a magical spot inside the citadel, with clean, cozy rooms spread across several small buildings that offer lovely terraces overlooking the sea. Breakfast is tasty, featuring homemade sweet and savory items. I’d advise against staying here if you have mobility issues, as the walk from the parking lot to the hotel is quite long, with multiple steep steps, and accessing the rooms also involves several stairs that can be steep at times.
