The biggest perk of staying here was the view of the sea from every room terrace and the breakfast terrace. The historic city centre is about a 10‑minute walk away. The room lacked a coffee maker and only had an empty fridge. The bathroom was quite shabby: the toilet seat fell off, the shower cabin had two glass doors that didn’t close so water leaked out, ventilation was poor, and old fixtures still had the old tape on the walls. We were two people, yet there was only one toothbrush; the reception at least handed out paper cups. The hotel doesn’t mention that the rooms are accessed through an external corridor, so if the lights are on you can see into the room, and if you’re on the terrace they’ll walk past you. The front door is quite flimsy. The restaurant was closed in the evening citing the off‑season, so you could only have breakfast. The male waiter was quite rude when the bread ran out; he pointed to the toast and said “eat that.” Luckily our room was on the street level, so the others had to climb stairs.
