The place is truly charming and cozy, creating a special atmosphere for couples. The rooms are spacious, the fireplace is incredible, and the hot tub offers a view of nature. Breakfast was delicious. Nicolas and Alan, the administrators, welcomed us warmly, were very polite, and always concerned about our stay and comfort. We’ll be back soon.

“Recarregando as energias em maromba”

I went to celebrate my boyfriend João’s anniversary. The location is off Visconde de Mauá, on a dirt road, but the journey is worth it once you arrive. Alan and Nicolas greeted us and gave us tips on what to do in the area and how to get to the sliding waterfall. The waterfall is practically next to the lodge, with two private entrances—one to the falls themselves and another to the slope. We stayed in Chalé 2, a very cozy spot that made us not want to leave. It has a TV, fireplace, hot tub, and the shower is a delight; the room also has an electric sheet that keeps the bed warm on colder days. What impressed us most was the integration with nature: we heard birds all the time and the waterfall’s sound brought a wonderful peace. Breakfast was impeccable, with plenty of variety in breads, cold cuts, and sweets, especially the trout sandwich with tomato and the banoffee. We left feeling refreshed and wanting more. Thank you for a wonderful experience; we’ll definitely return 🤍

“Amamos comemorar com vocês”

We booked the lodge to celebrate our first anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. We asked for a rose petal décor and they went above and beyond by adding candles, balloons, and even a complimentary bottle of wine, which made the celebration even more special. The place itself is stunning, cozy, and surrounded by nature—ideal for anyone looking for peace and relaxation. Its location is great for waterfall lovers, being close to Cachoeira do Escorrega, and although it’s a bit farther from Maromba’s center, that didn’t bother us. There are restaurants near the waterfall and also options that deliver straight to the lodge. It was an unforgettable experience that made our anniversary even more memorable, and we’d definitely come back and recommend it.
