“No staff on site, over a hours wait to get in.”

I arrived and found no office or anyone to speak to on site; after booking online I spent over an hour in my car trying to contact staff to be let in, and when I finally did, the replies to emails were very slow, making the hour‑long wait to be let in extremely frustrating.

View and location. AC worked well. Walls too thin. Heard sex and other tv while trying to sleep. Room 8 upstairs in lodge. Pool did not work. Spider webs all over kitchen

“I will never book this site ever again and I sure I will recommend to any of my family or friends”

Honestly nothing good; I didn’t like anything about this place— it wasn’t clean, there were water stains, hair from previous guests on the walls of the shower, it hadn’t been vacuumed, and it was dusty; we had to leave to get cleaning supplies to clean it because it was just dirty, and the TV didn’t even work.

“I was a hot hot day and we couldn't get to a water source to cool off. That was a bummer.”

Our room #4 upstairs was very nice, clean, and the AC worked great, and the view was fantastic, but the biggest problem was the pool—it was absolutely disgusting, very dirty, cloudy, and you couldn’t even see the bottom in 3 feet of water; they should not have allowed people in until a professional cleaned it, and the “lake beach access” was a hard hike with people camping in a tent and no room for anyone else, so paying 220 for one night and not being able to use the pool felt way too high.

Great location and value for big families, with a good distribution of rooms and sleeping spaces, but it seemed like no maintenance had been done recently; the shower head was clogged, the pool water was cloudy, and after the recent rains there was no safe access to the lake, which I wish the property had notified us about before we had to go on a wild excursion to find out we couldn’t swim.
