Breakfast was fine. Not great, there’s no dining room in the evenings for card games and drinks. An SB fridge in the foyer would be nice. It’s a shame there’s no gastronomy.

I stayed at this breakfast pension while hiking along the Oberlausitz Mountain Trail. It sits on the edge of Großschönau, on the road to Waltersdorf and close to hiking paths. My room was big enough and had a TV, a table with two chairs, and outlets near the bed. A bottle of water was already on the table when I arrived. For breakfast I could enjoy a creatively, varied, and lovingly prepared buffet. When I arrived late in the afternoon there was unfortunately no staff to greet me on site, but that wasn’t a major issue. Unfortunately, due to staffing reasons the accommodation no longer offers dinner.
