This 3 km distance from Saint-Maurice town centre and 5-minute drive from Les Bains de Lavey make it an ideal base for exploration. The hotel features 12 km from Martigny, 25 km from Lake Geneva, and 29 km from the Porte du Soleil Ski Area.

The bungalows looked like they were built in the sixties and never updated. We paid £342 for three nights but left after the first night, feeling more like a hostel than a hotel. We didn’t ask for a refund, but it would be good if something could be done.

The parking in front of the bungalow and the nearby road were convenient. At night there were noises that felt like the blinds were being touched. The room was cold when we arrived, and the interior space was wasted by partitions. The toilet was separate from the shower‑sink area, making the rooms narrow. The shower joints weren’t well maintained. The TV only had foreign channels. There was a kettle with cups and tea bags under the sink next to the drain, which wasn’t very hygienic. Breakfast was mediocre: frozen industrial croissants, a few slices of cold cuts, overripe fruit, cheap dry toast, yogurt, chocolate, tea, fruit juice—very basic, not what I expected.

The accommodation and the staff’s flexibility were appreciated, and the place was well cared for and located nicely. We’ll definitely return! The only downside was a slightly limited selection of plant‑based milk and protein products (other than hard eggs); otherwise everything was good and reasonably priced.

The surrounding nature was a highlight. We ran out of hot water for two days, but it was fixed.

The receptionist was charming, spoke five languages, was attentive to everything, and offered many alternatives and options to make the stay enjoyable. Everything was very clean, spacious, and had all the necessities.
