The aircon in my room didn't work and it was the dead of winter! I didn't discover this until after the hotel staff had shut up shop, so I did not want to disturb them, so I "borrowed" the covers to the sofas in the public area (3 of them!) to put on top of my single blanket to keep me warm, so just a warning: test the aircon in your room before closing time if you think you might need to use it!!

The staff were friendly and eager to help, going out of their way. Meals were lovely and the location was close to where I wanted to be. The heater was nice and warm on a chilly night. The only downside is the main highway right by the hotel—next time I’ll pick a room away from it.
