The staff welcomed me with a complimentary socket adapter, which really made my stay easier. The spot is perfect, within walking distance to the Galway bus station (direct bus to/from Dublin city/airport), Victoria Place (shuttle bus to/from Rossaveel Harbour and the Aran islands), Galway city center, and Westend. The room was comfortable and clean, and the surroundings were relaxing. There was complimentary tea and instant coffee. Breakfast costs €10 and you just need to cross the street. It starts at 7am, which is convenient if you need to catch a bus in the morning.

The location was fine, and the owner was kind enough to move us to a different room quickly. The place was not very clean; at first we were put in a ground‑floor room with no window (only a small one overlooking the bathroom and the inner courtyard) that smelled of mold. The second room was better but still dirty and neglected, with hair everywhere and a very old feel.

It’s less than a 10‑minute walk to Eyre Square. The accommodation was great; I would book again when I’m in Galway.
