Hotel des Lys, located in Versailles City Centre, offers free WiFi and a bar. The hotel features rooms with flat-screen TVs, telephones, and walk-in showers. A traditional market and restaurants are nearby. Continental breakfast is served in the dining room or in-room. The hotel is close to Versailles Rive droite Train Station, A13 motorway, Golf National, and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, with onsite paid parking.

The hotel was lovely and quiet in the middle of Versailles, within walking distance of everything, including the train station to Paris (35 minutes by train). Versailles itself is a beautiful town with many shops, restaurants and charming streets. The room and bed were fine, and the sheets were nice. Luckily I could sit in the lobby, since the room didn’t have much space. The noise level was high (though that’s common in many places), but it was quiet at night.

The cleaning was good and fresh towels were provided daily, which was great. The location was perfect. The room was very small – we booked a 3‑person room but it seemed to be a 2‑person room, as one chair was turned into a bed. It was really cramped, and the duvets were scorching hot. The room was also very warm and we couldn’t cool it down even with the climate control, which doesn’t seem to work optimally.

The location was good and the staff were friendly, plus there is parking. The hallway carpet was very stained, but the room was clean.
