“Sehr schönes Hotel”

A beautiful hotel, great location in the jungle, food was excellent. The room had a view of the parking lot; I would have preferred a jungle view instead.

“Perfekte Lage, schönes Hotel zu einem sehr guten Preis”

The spot was perfect for catching the Maya pyramids early in the morning, being much closer than if you had to drive from the entrance into the Biosphere Reserve. The staff were extremely friendly, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Lots of animals, especially birds, were around the hotel – you just had to be patient. Because it wasn’t peak season, the pool area was completely shut down, yet we would have liked the staff to be more attentive and ask the few guests if they still wanted a drink or a bite. The restaurant is very large, with high ceilings; it could be more cozy if small lamps were placed on the tables instead of the large “flut lamps” hanging from the ceiling, which gave a rather cool and uncomfortable vibe.

“Hotel fantastico però con falta de servecios”

The room is spacious and clean. The hotel itself is a very cozy space and you can relax in the pool at the end of the day. There are very few services considering the hotel is in the middle of a natural park and the next town with restaurants or cafés is far away. In my opinion, there should be a pool bar with soft drinks and beers, not just water and strong alcoholic drinks. Also for dinner you only had the choice between two dishes, one meat and one fish, nothing else. Since the hotel is very close to the archaeological zone and other wonders, it should offer the possibility to go and return to the sites at different times of the day, included in the room price.

“Excelente Estancia, alejado de la civilizacion contiguo a Calakmul.”

Very comfortable, clean and excellent staff, I hope they keep that quality since it’s a new hotel. I can’t remember exactly, but I think there was one night when there was no hot water or electricity.
