Lovely old coaching inn with lots of character. Our room was well appointed, but breakfast didn’t quite come up to the standard of the rest of the hotel.

Everything was absolutely superb from start to finish. Check‑in was easy and the lady was really friendly and helpful. I requested a spacious room because I have an extremely large breed dog and the room was perfect; we had plenty of space, which made the whole experience much more enjoyable as my dog was happy as was I. Breakfast was absolutely lovely; the selection of continental foods was lovely and the full English was yummy, my dog also wholeheartedly agrees with that. I can’t wait to visit again as I will 100% stay here again; it is bang in the middle of Woodstock, which makes it an easy stroll into Blenheim Palace grounds, which is what we were there for. There was nothing I can pin point that can be improved upon.

I loved the spot and even had parking. The only downside was the TV’s placement; when I lay in bed I couldn’t see the screen.
