The place feels like an old‑school business hotel, but the front desk staff were always present and helpful—big thanks to the male clerk Ueda for his assistance. Staying over the hot summer was easier thanks to the large public bath, and the single room near the station was almost twice as wide as typical chain rooms, giving plenty of space for luggage. Having a convenience store, a 24‑hour coin laundry and three ramen shops nearby was very convenient, and I managed to snag a cheap breakfast by booking the day before, plus the ability to use a courier service was appreciated. On the downside, the “night‑cry ramen” was only for members online, I had to go to the front desk each time I needed a locker key for the public bath, the mini‑fridge in the room required me to turn it on myself which melted my ice, the individual shower in the large bath was so cold I had to wash my hair and body near the tub, and I was misinformed about bus service: Friday buses ran fine but there were none on weekends, a fact I only learned at the local tourist office, making weekend travel impossible without a car or a taxi.

I appreciated the hotel staff's courteous service and the convenience of being able to choose from a selection of amenities. However, I felt that the staff may have been new or underprepared, as they didn't have information on local public transportation or bus schedules. Additionally, I was surprised to see laundry scattered outside my room, which seemed untidy.

The front desk staff were very polite and welcoming, which was a positive start to my stay. Nevertheless, I found that the hotel's facilities were a bit outdated, and the toilet was tricky to use, with water constantly running.
The room is compact but functional. The facilities are somewhat old, yet clean. The large bath is for men only. Consider changing the hours so women can also use the large bath.
“最悪や”
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately, my room had a strong odor and I found two bugs on my bed, which was really disappointing. Overall, it was a letdown.
