If you’re flying in or out of Seattle, this place sits directly across from the airport. From what I saw, there were plenty of shuttles. A rideshare would be less than a mile away, though I’m not sure where the SeaTac pickups are or the route they take to get here. Either way, the location is prime. The property is surrounded by trees, and my room was large, peaceful, and had a nice balcony. I tried their smash burger at the on‑site restaurant, and it was good; the entrée, soda, and tip totaled $40.00. The staff were amazing, especially Bobby, who was kind and gave helpful information about accessing my room and parking. The only issue was that the sprawling complex of wings connected to a tower made it confusing to find my way back to the car: it took me about 20 minutes to get from the lobby to my car, find a spot, and navigate through the complex to the correct elevator. Arrow signs pointing to the elevator for my wing and other wings were side by side, and my elevator was actually five feet in the opposite direction of the arrow. The room is dated but has a 1990s urban PNW charm, reminiscent of the Ivars on Lake Union. For a Hilton, I expected better maintenance; the hallways looked a bit dirty, and the bathroom tile had either black mold or some kind of dirt that couldn’t be cleaned. If it’s mold, that’s alarming.
