Located just across the River Foyle from Derry’s walled city, this modern hotel offers friendly and helpful staff at both restaurants and reception, but I would have liked a larger room for the price I paid, even though the facilities were nice.

The rooms are tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and all conveniences, the staff are friendly, the SOA treatments are excellent, and the thermal suite is lovely; breakfast was very good and the location is excellent. However, on the first‑floor room we stayed in, music from either the lobby or the thermal suite played all night—low in tone but still noticeable—and parking isn’t free, making the price feel steep for Derry.

The hotel is always spotless and in a great spot for exploring the city, and the staff are extremely helpful and polite.

The spot was perfect for getting into the city, and the staff were nice. The room was tiny but cozy and stayed quiet once the restaurant’s extractor fans turned off at 9.30pm. The parking was cheap and safe. The price felt high for a hotel of this level, especially when compared to nearby options. The on‑site dinner was just decent pub food; better to head out to a local eatery. The place is a popular wedding spot!
