“Guesthouse très sympathique”

Victor is very kind and helpful with arranging the trip and excursions, offering good food tips too. The guesthouse is well set up with a terrace and hammocks. It’s a shame there’s no breakfast, but I usually leave early for excursions.

I loved the location and the building’s unique style, but the staff seemed unprepared for my arrival—my son, who usually handles the holiday logistics, had to step in. The place was very quiet and offered few activities or tours, which made sense for the low season.

“Great location and beautiful, unique decor and spaces”

The location was excellent—close to the waterfront, cafés, and restaurants. My room was lovely, featuring natural wood crafted by the owner, giving it a quirky and rustic charm. Free drinking water, tea, coffee, a microwave, fridge, and stove were available, and there were many social spaces. It was a great place, especially as a one‑night stop at the end of a trip.

The spot’s location was great, and the decor was stunning, featuring handmade wooden structures and plenty of artifacts around. I paid extra for a superior room that gave me a lot of extra space, a private fridge, a small balcony, and a large roof terrace that was really lovely. The location was just back from any waterfront noise but still a short walk to everything. The main reception and the area next to the courtyard had fire alarms that beeped constantly because they ran out of battery, which was annoying for the whole 10‑night stay and seems common in the town. The roof terrace was nice but a bit grubby; it could have been cleaned before arrival or at least once it was in use, yet it never was. Rooms were cleaned maybe every other day, but it wasn’t clear when. Better communication about what to expect would have helped. The payment by card option was actually a transfer link that didn’t work for all card types, so I had to pay cash—something the owners would prefer. Knowing this beforehand would have made it easier, as I had to withdraw a lot of cash from expensive local ATMs for a 10‑night stay, causing extra stress. Just tell people in advance that cash is required and it would have been fine.
