Very close to the coast, a comfortable bed, and a well‑equipped kitchen. The water didn’t heat up for many minutes, and the heating took a while to reach the room.

Brandon was very concerned about the common areas and the heating, but the only improvement I’d suggest is that the shower water could be hotter.

The room was tiny, but we got access to a little lounge with a wood‑burning stove and a handy kitchen nook, which made it feel much larger. Since we were the only ones using the shared areas during our stay, it stayed comfortable and quiet. It’s right on the bus stop and under 100 m from the marble‑cave tours and the peaceful centre of Puerto Rio.
