I love this place soooooooo much! What a great spot. Perfect location, Redwin is the kindest, loveliest, funniest property manager—always happy to help with anything. Yummy breakfasts, especially the daily fresh orange juice. The rooms are super clean and comfortable with a great bathroom. I was in the triple room, which is better in person than in photos. Being able to look at the surf (both the bay and Cathedrals) from my balcony or the rooftop made this place extra special. I plan to return for a month in the future and would definitely stay here again. Oh and Vox the doggo is gorgeous and cute and up for cuddles! Guests were also really cool and lots of solo travellers in the 40’s-50’s age range, which is perfect for me as I’m in my 40s and travelling solo (and didn’t want to go to a backpacker party hostel). There are other places that are aesthetically more beautiful—with rendered internal walls and more of the Moroccan meets Byron Bay chic—but they charge twice as much and I can’t see how they could possibly be any better or more comfortable. Redwin and team—Thank you!! It was very hard to leave. A fan in the bedroom would be good—just for airflow and to help stuff dry out overnight. Also it would be lovely if there was a tea station set up so that we can go and make tea in the evenings. These aren’t criticisms, just ideas of what would be nice to have.
