The walls had cracks and marks, and the carpet was covered in dirty spots. No food was served on site even though the website advertised a restaurant; breakfast was delivered to the room in cold takeaway cartons, probably bought from a nearby cafe. The selection was very limited and didn’t accommodate our dietary needs, making the £50 charge for a takeaway feel unjustified. The photos on the site didn’t match the actual room condition.

The place was really lovely and spotless, but I couldn’t find a table in my room when I needed to work, so I had to use a café instead. I hadn’t requested a table, so maybe that was my mistake.

The location, size, and comfort were great for the price, but the shower head needs a new fitting, the carpets and décor could use a little TLC, and the TV in room 2 might need an update.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were excellent, and the location was perfect. Nothing to complain about.

The only thing worth mentioning was the location. Our top‑floor room had a very steep staircase; we were lucky to be agile and travel light, otherwise we’d have struggled with the suitcases. The room is large but lacks furniture, the bathroom is also large but feels empty, and the shower over the bath is extremely slippery.
