“I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else and things get better.”
I appreciated that the room had several mirrors outside the bathroom for us to use, especially since the bathroom light didn’t work. This trip was planned for my three kids and me to have a bit of fun before school resumed. At first I thought it was a good place at a good price, it looked nice, and we should be comfortable, but I was wrong. The bathroom light wouldn’t turn on at all, so I had to bring the lamp from the room into the bathroom to see. The front desk lady couldn’t help and wasn’t very helpful overall. After I shined some light, I saw the restroom was DIRTY: the sink wasn’t clean, we had almost no towels, and it looked like they were leftovers from the previous guest. There was urine, feces, and hair in and out of the toilet seat and floor. I went to a store to buy disinfectant spray with paper towels and cleaned it myself for us to use after our long drive. The tub was decent enough after a wipe down, but the shower curtain had some stains. The front desk lady said she would talk to her manager about this and get back to me, but I never heard from them. Besides all that, the place was okay. We did our best and got through the night. I don’t think I’ll stay here again. This is my first experience like this and hopefully my only.
