Breakfast was adequate, especially the second morning when we asked for sausages and received two fried eggs on a nicely set plate; service at the breakfast area was excellent. I wish there were more pillows—I had to bring my own neck pillow from the car to read in bed.

The location worked well for us, but the bathroom needed renovation; the floor tiles around the toilet and the wall and floor tiles were in poor condition.

I grabbed a breakfast platter at the nearby ABC service station, and on the first morning I got a buffet that was quite varied. The next morning I paid about the same amount for a plated breakfast from the display because the offered breakfast plates didn’t meet my expectations. The room could have included information on nearby services; I’d have liked a beach sauna but didn’t ask about it. The shower was good, the room was tidy and slept well even though a 6‑way view was visible from the window.
