The room was an okay size and the receptionist was friendly, but the breakfast was bad, the staff in the breakfast room were grumpy and there was no coffee. Maintenance was poor: we had a loose plug in the room and a towel rack fell off. Throughout the hotel, the fire alarms are periodically beeping for new batteries, and the so‑called 'gym room' is just sad.

The location is good and the rooms are large, and the breakfast is sufficient, but the bed was very dirty from the previous guest, and only a new sheet was put on it. The dessert was also dirty (see pictures). I only noticed this the next morning; otherwise I would have complained right away. It is very loud because the hotel is on the main street and the rooms facing that side are noisy.
