I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe in the room. Clothes belonging to a stranger hung in the wardrobe. The place was extremely noisy; I could hear everything from the neighboring room. There was mold in the shared bathroom. It was terrible, so I checked out early.

It was lovely! I felt like I was in a period‑movie setting. I loved everything about it, especially that it’s 400 years old, the furniture was wonderful, and the people were great.

The staff were friendly, but the old broken slatted bed frame was a problem.

The location, the friendly staff, and the fact that it’s a very “traditional” house with charm were all highlights.

The staff were very nice, yet I had to leave after one night because loud construction literally shook my whole room, clanged on the bed frame and woke me up early, the room was dusty and the bins were full of rubbish when I arrived, and the staff said they would discuss a refund since I only stayed one of the four nights, but I’ve emailed and received no reply.
