The hotel is charming, spacious, and stylish—perfect for families. We booked a room for four and it was uniquely designed with a view over all of Osaka; the beds were very comfortable, a real upgrade from our previous hotel, and the onsen was very pleasant. The location is a bit remote; even though the hotel sits right on a train station, it’s still a bit far from the city center and feels a little dated.

The train station is right outside, which was great for a child who loves trains, and from the room you could actually see the trains—nice. However, it seemed hard to change anything that was system‑based or automated, and paying extra for small adjustments felt a bit over‑priced for a hotel that’s trying to be flashy.

“Comfortable and reliable, we'll stay again.”

The OMO hotels always feel super comfy, with stylish decor and top‑class facilities, so I’ll definitely return. The garden at the front of OMO7 Osaka is nice, but when you arrive with luggage you’ll find it tricky to walk to the Shin‑Imamiya station entrance on the ground floor, then take the escalator or lift up to reception; dragging your bags up that winding path is a real hassle.

“Our preferred hotel in Osaka (our second visit)”

The location is great, rooms are spacious with lovely views, and the amenities and staff are superb. I’d just wish the room had a smart TV instead of a standard one.
