“Fabulous Riu gran canaries”

The Riu party was fabulous, our room was very nice and newly decorated, with a garden view and balcony; the food and drinks were good, and there were no extra charges unlike some all‑inclusives with many brands. I liked that we didn’t have to put a deposit down for towels or the safes, and the staff were all extremely helpful; the sports bar opens until 5 am and the entertainment staff were superb, all working hard—congrats. It would have been nice to be able to enter the other Rius, as there are three literally next door to each other.

“Geweldig”

We had the suite with sea and boulevard views. Everything was very clean and the drinks were refilled daily in the fridge. Animation was very fun. It was a shame we didn’t book through Riu, so we missed the welcome gift. Restaurants must be booked; you can’t just walk in. The complex is huge with many guests, so it’s not quiet. A very touristy island, just a bit fun (we were there for a birthday and staying on Vastenland SP with a house).

“Nice but probably won't be back”

Great staff, brilliant entertainment and the food was good. Location was good for the beach. The steak restaurant was lovely. Sunbed reserving!! People were setting their alarms for 4.30am to reserve beds sometimes to no avail!! So bloody annoying that we didn't use a pool once and went off site instead during the day. Also, the Italian restaurant was very disappointing. Expected waiter service but it no different to the buffet in the main restaurant

The attention from all staff was excellent, I loved the detail they had for my husband’s birthday (without asking for anything), they gifted us a bottle of champagne and expressed their best wishes for the 👏🏼. They knew because there were gifts in the room and balloons for my husband.
