“Best view in Wengen!”
The hotel sits in a beautiful historic building, and the room was immaculately clean with everything well maintained. I loved the retro vibe, which added to the experience. Some guests mentioned low water pressure, but I was on the top floor and had no issues. The view from the room was breathtaking. The staff were helpful and kind, and breakfast was delicious with amazing coffee—perfect for fueling a full day of hiking. The train‑station pickup and drop‑off were very convenient, so you don’t have to haul luggage up the hill. Walking from the station isn’t bad, but if you have a heavy suitcase, it can be a struggle. The walls are thin, typical for a historic building, but that’s fine unless there are loud neighbors. I had an inconsiderate couple in the adjacent room for two nights who talked loudly on their balcony until 30 minutes past midnight, so I could only sleep after they finally went to bed.
