“No es un 5 *****”

The price was fine for what I paid, but everything else was a disaster. It’s not even close to the center, though there is a street of restaurants nearby. Booking markets it as a 5‑star, yet it’s far from that. There’s no laundry, room service, or spa—those are in neighboring buildings. The room layout was catastrophic: one person couldn’t read while the other slept. Reception staff didn’t answer the phone and sometimes didn’t speak English at all. I almost changed at the last minute and didn’t because of Booking’s recommendation. I’ll never trust the star rating on that app again, even as a Genius 3.

The staff were very attentive, the place was very clean, and the pool was amazing.

The room was comfy and spacious, the location had a cozy vibe, and they even gave us a weight scale. The room keeper covered my dog’s softie with my scarf 😆. The designer must be single because there’s no makeup table for a wife.

“Consigliatissimo”

Everything was perfect – a very beautiful, well‑kept and spotless hotel, with a hugely varied breakfast (even a take‑away option for early risers), a convenient location that made getting everywhere easy, and a great neighbourhood. The staff were incredibly friendly, listened to our wishes and always tried to fulfil them. Our room was enormous, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom large and attractive.
