The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good, and the hotel is very close to the Cliffs Pavilion. The general appearance was very dated and my bedroom needed a makeover – the armchair had tears in the seat and the glass-fronted wardrobe was very unsteady, so I couldn’t move it. Even the hook on the bathroom door was hanging off with one screw holding it together.
