“Mooi hotel met fijn personeel en goede ligging”

The hotel was nice with a roomy room. The staff were very friendly and the contact was pleasant. I arrived early in town and could park my car on the parking lot. My room was ready within 30 minutes. There was a pool with sunbeds. The restaurant was closed at that time, but that was fine. The breakfast service and room service were excellent. The location is also good; in 10 minutes on foot you reach the old town. In the immediate area there are great restaurants and many shops, not the touristy ones but large chain stores and nice boutiques, unlike the old centre. Nothing to complain about. It was Sunday and low season, so not both restaurants were open, but there were plenty of places within 5 minutes for food and drinks. There were few power outlets, though.

Breakfast was okay. The room had old furniture and the towels weren’t very clean.

The beds were comfortable. The room was very basic, the balcony was very tatty. The pool was very dirty and we didn’t use it. It didn’t look like the photos at all. There was no hot water in the showers for our entire stay.

We landed 5 hours late due to flight issues but checked in with no problem in the middle of the night, quick and easy. Breakfast was good, with a great choice and large takeaway cups for tea and coffee. Food at the pool bar was lovely and well priced. The rooms were a good size and clean. The gym was a good size and had a steam room and sauna in each of the changing rooms. If you have a late flight you can shower and change in the gym, which was great to have – just ask the gym manager for towels. The pool was good but needs daily cleaning as leaves were blowing in from nearby trees. We had issues with our room safe twice, but maintenance sorted it after the second time.
