I loved staying at this hotel. The room was very comfortable, but the onsen was the highlight—both the communal and private baths were beautiful, and one private rooftop bath was open air. Free ice cream and massage chairs were added bonuses. As a dormy‑inn affiliate, this hotel is top class. It’s busy and fun, yet the rooms stay quiet. It’s very close to Beppu Station and right in the heart of restaurants. I love it! Nothing was wrong.

The family bath and the large communal bath had a wonderful atmosphere, and it was easy to use the family bath without waiting. I booked the room with breakfast and dinner included. Breakfast was very good: the self‑serve Kaisendon was tasty, as were the salad, pollock‑roe omelette, and especially the chicken from Oita Hien, which is famous for its chicken dishes. Dinner was not bad; the menu wasn’t very diverse, but the chicken, steak, and sashimi were tasty. The only downside was that dinner felt a little underwhelming for its price.
