The hotel sits within walking distance of the train station, the castle, the cathedral, and is located on the street behind the Grand Theater of Angers; it has a lot of character and very helpful staff, serves a healthy and excellent breakfast for a relatively long stretch of hours, and I’m glad we stayed there—there should be more historic hotels like this.

The location is excellent and the reception staff were attentive, the breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. The room was too small for three people; it’s a double room with an extra bed, so everything felt cramped.
