“Warm hosts, comfy room, fantastic views, with simple facilities”

The hosts were very warm and welcoming, and we used a translation app to chat. The view is spectacular, especially in the morning when the valley is shrouded in clouds. The food was delicious, the beds comfortable, and the dog was very friendly, greeting us regularly. We hiked up and down the road to a fantastic restaurant at the foot of the hill—an adventure worth the trek, and we even got to dip into the river. We could drive up the road without a 4WD. The downside is the bathroom is down a flight of stairs outside and has no hot water; it wasn’t a problem for us, but people should know beforehand so they’re not disappointed—though it might be temporary.

The place is a genuine rural Georgian house in the mountains with a large open veranda. My room had two beds and was comfortable. The food served by the very hospitable hosts was exceptionally tasty and plentiful—something I rarely found in Georgia. The price‑quality ratio is excellent. The only drawback is that it may be difficult for some to reach the house from the highway, going up into the mountain, but I personally enjoyed the walk; the scenery along the way opens up beautifully across almost the entire valley.

Very friendly people, everything is simple, cozy, and done with love. The entrance requires a 4×4 off‑road vehicle.

Nothing noteworthy, we didn’t stay in the complex. The cost is high for the accommodation offered, the room is cramped. The road is terrible – a steep stone path up the hill, and with a regular car we barely made it, so a jeep is necessary!
