The young woman at reception was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The beds were comfortable, the room spacious, and it was very quiet for sleeping with a comfortable temperature – the air conditioning worked well and wasn’t noisy. A mini‑fridge was in the room. Parking is in a car park in front of the hotel, a 15‑minute walk to a lively centre with restaurants and plenty of bars for all tastes and budgets, and it’s close to main roads and motorways. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. The hotel normally stays closed until 18:00, which is inconvenient if you arrive earlier; on long journeys you often don’t know your arrival time, so it’s annoying to wait in your car. We managed to contact someone who let us in, but it’s unclear if that’s always possible. The hotel feels a bit old‑fashioned but could be great with a little updating, perhaps reopening the restaurant and offering earlier check‑in.

The location and breakfast were good. The hotel was inflexible with payment; they sent me a payment link that my company card couldn’t accept, so I had to advance my trip just to be able to check in.
