It’s easy to find and within walking distance of the town centre; the facilities were good and the room was comfortable, though the sofa in our room was saggy and not very cozy.

I booked through B.com without a hitch and found Avonpark House to be a true gem—spotlessly clean, supremely comfortable, and the Full English breakfasts were among the best, beautifully cooked and bursting with flavor. The bed quality was excellent, and the hosts were wonderful, doing everything they could to make our stay smooth and cozy. Parking out front was straightforward, and the location is literally a 10‑minute walk from the town centre, crossing the tramway and park—a pleasant stroll. I’m already looking forward to another visit; Avonpark House is just a 10‑minute drive from Compton Verney. The only downside is that the frontage isn’t the most eye‑catching, but it conceals a lovely interior, and the house is set back from a sometimes busy street—though it’s not noisy from inside, so don’t let that deter you.
