The site, the accommodation, and the friendliness of the staff. It’s a shame I couldn’t visit the cellar or taste the wine.

The place was nicely kept and the staff were friendly, but the wine tour felt too commercial even though we paid for it, and it was a bit far from the Val D’Orchia area.

The spot sits on the highest hill of the Val d'Orcia plain, overlooking cypress trees and wheat fields, offering stunning sunrise and sunset views. I only stayed one day but wished for 2–3 more. The breakfast was a quiet, clean European meal with a variety of cheeses, ham, yogurt, etc. Cleanliness, scenery, lawn, atmosphere, quietness… it was all so good that just thinking about it makes me smile. I’m not sure what to list as a drawback; it was perfect, nothing to add.

Camila was very welcoming, asked about our arrival time ahead of time, met us at the door, and showed us the room amenities. The winery room was well-equipped and I loved the decor style. The restaurant service was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the manager was great at arranging things, joking that the menu was in his head—very satisfied.

The location is amazing, right in the green! The sunset is the most breathtaking, and the staff are absolutely wonderful!
