“Definitely coming back again”

We enjoyed our stay; the place was clean and beautiful. Breakfast needs improvement.

The breakfast consisted of bread with eggs, tomato, and onion—passable, though technically not a full English breakfast, which is the norm in Livingstone. They let me have an early breakfast on request at 06:30 daily, and I appreciated that. The staff were very polite and eager to help, and the place was generally very clean. I liked the extra blanket they provided. The toilet in my room had a flushing issue; the float was not properly connected. I reported it and was assured it would be fixed, but it wasn’t for the entire stay. I had to open the cistern and push it back up (I’m a bit handy) to make sure it filled. The toilet is a basic necessity, and no guest should have to do such things just to flush. I was disappointed they couldn’t get a plumber. This was in the Cheetah room, and the tiles and wall around the toilet show several unsuccessful fixes. Water ran out at night on the first night, and when I asked the next day they said they forgot to turn on the pump. I had no other water issues. For breakfast, I was expected to use the water dispenser to get hot water for my tea. This should be revised, as it isn’t normal not to have a kettle in a large enough lodge.

I didn't like anything because they booked another walking guest for a higher price and cancelled my reservation at the last minute. Trustless people.

Not bad; breakfast isn’t served hot. The swimming pool is nice, and if there are kids’ activities, that would be better. There’s no fridge in the room, and some maintenance is required.
