“良いホテルです。”

It was my first trip to Switzerland and I stayed in a single room that didn’t show the Matterhorn, but from the window I could see the Gornergrat railway, which lifted my spirits. The room was clean and the facilities were satisfactory. The train station is a short walk away, so a large suitcase might be a hassle, but the hotel sent a courteous message beforehand explaining the route, which was very helpful. I was also happy with the breakfast. For the price I felt it was reasonable, and I’d like to stay here again when I return to Zermatt.

The room and bed were excellent, the balcony was a nice bonus, the reception staff were pleasant, and breakfast was good. The bathroom was fine overall, but the shower is inconvenient because there’s no door, so water can splash out, and the lack of a threshold raises the risk of accidental water damage.

The balcony in the room already offered a sunrise view, and breakfast was plentiful with various cheeses, breads, and fruit to choose from. The location is a bit far from the train station, requiring a 15‑minute walk, which can be tough if you have large luggage.

“Fantastique, on reviendra!”

The staff were friendly, the building had a certain charm, the rooms were newly renovated, the bedding was comfortable, the spa was nice, and breakfast was good. I could see the Matterhorn from the view. The location was a bit away from the bustling centre, which made it quiet. Nothing else to mention.

“Phantastisches Hotel und unglaubliche Lage.”

The location was fantastic. From our window we could see the Matterhorn. We had a large terrace. The spot is perfect, only a few minutes on foot from the cable car station and the train station. The service was top‑class and the breakfast was very, very good – there was something for everyone. Highly recommended. We’ll return.
