The room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and within easy walking distance to downtown. However, the Wi‑Fi is basically non‑existent—only one or two bars, sometimes three, never enough to get online. I had to use my phone as a hotspot, but the cell signal was so weak it worked only sporadically. The Panasonic TV came with a Samsung remote, but I had to call an employee to get it turned on. The channel selector was a Dish remote, so without a TV remote I couldn’t exit zoom mode or see the baseball score, pitch count, inning, or base runners. I couldn’t see how to turn off the TV when I went to bed, so I had to hang towels over the screen to darken the room. Management seems clueless, which is a major reason to avoid this hotel.

I absolutely love this hotel’s location! The scenery is unreal and makes for a beautiful walk into town, and the river access is so fun. A few key updates would help: nicer towels, smart TVs, and a better breakfast. The breakfast starts at 8, which is too late for hikers, and for the price you pay, I expected more than waffles and microwaveable sandwiches.

Breakfast was a joke—just cold cereal and store‑bought coffee cake. The line for coffee meant I had to take the coffee cake to my room. I’m 5'11" and had to hang my feet over the bottom of the mattress to get the covers over my shoulders; the blankets offered were minimal.

The place is pretty quiet with a nice river view, and it’s conveniently off the main road so you can easily reach the town center, groceries, and gas. The bed was comfortable, and I always liked having a waffle maker available for the continental breakfast. The Wi‑Fi was a bit spotty and the hot water seemed to struggle on one night.
