The location is just steps from Zocalo, the Cathedral, and Templo Mayor, and the Tiffany glass ceiling is gorgeous; the bedroom and bathroom are spacious. However, the bedroom feels old, the beds are old, and there aren’t enough bedsheets.

The fin de siècle décor is beautiful, and the hotel gives easy access to the city center. Nothing to complain about.

The hotel is gorgeous and I love that they preserved the original architecture and design. Its location is superb—just steps from the Zócalo, and we had an event there in the city center, so staying here was ideal; a demonstration closed the streets to reach the center, but from this hotel we could walk 6–9 minutes to the event without any trouble. The rooms are huge! The front‑desk staff were very friendly and attentive. One of the rooms we booked had a very unpleasant odor—dirty and old, with a worn carpet that likely caused the smell. Those renovation or maintenance details should be improved to give guests a better impression. The towels look very worn and look bad. The breakfast restaurant also appears very neglected and needs a good remodel.
