Getting in was straightforward, but I felt uneasy because people stayed in the room opposite mine. I couldn’t locate all the light switches, and the hot water took a long time to arrive.

The bedding was clean and the room was in a great spot. Melanie at reception was amazing—warm and very helpful. The shower seals had mould, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable and I could feel the springs, so I didn’t sleep well.

I think the price was good value for money. The wind‑stop mechanism on the window didn’t seal completely—it left a 2 cm gap. I also couldn’t find a way to turn on the light near the microwave, so it was a bit dark the last night when I tried to use it.
