“Recomendable”

Overall everything was great. The staff were very friendly and the stay was pleasant in a good location. We didn’t use public transport at all. The breakfast was complimentary and included croissants, fruit, cookies, muffins, juice, milk, and coffee. The only downside was the air conditioning, which was too cold for us; I asked to turn it down, but it would turn back on and I kept feeling very cold.

“Perfect location with the nicest staff”

The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to explain everything and help out. The room was quiet, the beds comfortable, and the location was spot‑on, right in the heart of the city. However, breakfast isn’t actually offered on‑site; you get a ticket to a nearby café that serves ham & cheese toast, a croissant, and tea or coffee. On the first day the café was closed, so the hotel gave us a packed breakfast from the café—a sandwich, a cookie, and a juice. We didn’t mind for our two‑night stay, but for a longer visit I’d skip breakfast and eat elsewhere. The shower was surprisingly dark, but I got used to it.

The hotel sits close to the central station and near the Colosseum, with a small shop nearby for water and snacks. We checked in early because our flight was moved and we arrived early in the morning; the room was ready by about 11 a.m., which was a big relief after the long journey. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, and they handed us a paper map with landmark markers and showed us how to get to the hotel. The room was small but had everything we needed: a mini‑bar fridge, a hairdryer, a working shower, and a comfortable bed. We didn’t take breakfast. A bar next to the hotel hosts large groups and can be very noisy. We were upset when we returned late at night, expecting it to disturb our sleep, but with the windows closed the room was completely quiet. Soundproofing was good and the AC worked perfectly. All in all, great experience, thank you!

“This hotel surprised me, the A/C was strong, the location was great and receptionists were helpful!”

I had to book this place on the day of arrival because our flight from Milan was rerouted to Rome. Luckily a room was available, and the hotel is in Monti, a charming, close‑knit neighborhood. The location is super convenient—most city‑center attractions are a 15‑30 minute walk away—and there are excellent restaurants and bars nearby. We walked from Roma Termini that morning, exhausted and thirsty, and the heat was intense when we got there. Giorgio welcomed us warmly, assured us the A/C was working, and guided us to our room. He even gave a quick tour and explained how to use the lights, something not many hotels do. The A/C was powerful and cooled us down from the June heat. The room’s design was very creative (hence the hotel’s name), with bright colors that lifted the mood. I wish we’d stayed for the remaining three nights of our Rome trip, but we’d booked another hotel for the rest of the stay. Thanks to Giorgio for answering questions and offering recommendations! The only downside was that the bathroom had no exhaust fan and the sink bottom was flat, so you had to flick water at the debris to get it to drain.
